A few year ago, I spent a week at the School of the Art Institute’s summer facility in Saugatuck, Michigan. I took an intense week-long monoprinting class. I created a series of 12 prints that week, where I was inspired by organic forms in nature and architectural shapes that I photograph on my long walks. I spent hours mixing colors, cutting stencils, and printing texture over texture, not even waiting for the ink to dry. It was a powerful week, which led to completing the rest of the prints in this series. Each print is one of a kind and pricing does not include framing.
